How to stop overthinking in a relationship

There is nothing good at all about being overthinking in a relationship. It just gets you more disconnected to yourself and your partner. The overthinking usually comes from fears and not being in Contact to your inner being.
Here are some steps to follow instead.

How to stop overthinking in a relationship:

1. What are the thoughts and feelings you are having? What are the fears? Write them down. For example - I don't feel respected. I don't feel safe and secure. Put fire on this list. Is there a heritage here of old beliefs? Old patterns?

2. Write the opposite positive on another paper. For example I am respected. I am number one. I am loved. I am safe and secure. We solve everything with kindness and understanding. Put down everything you like to create in this relationship. If anything is possible: How does the relationship look like in 6 months. Save this paper and look at it daily. Feel that you are already there. Be grateful for all that is coming now to you. To be grateful opens the door. To have fears closes the door.

3. Take care of yourself every morning. Do a little meditation. Read your affirmations. Be generous to yourself. Maybe talk to your inner child. Make it feel safe and secure. Do some forgiving to yourself and others. Use the hoponopono prayer. I am sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. Thank you.

4. Focus more on your inner work/world than trying to change your partner. When reactions are coming inside of you. Take care of your feelings when alone. Look at the situation - what negative feelings did you get? What is the opposite positive you need to create now and focus on? Then keep these positive things as your mental diet. You will find peace inside and get the relationship you dream of!
